SACRED LAB. The long-time favorite beach club Ku De Ta in Bali introduces a novel hot spot on the building’s second floor.
Called Mejekawi (Jl. Kayu Kaya no.9, Seminyak, Bali; kudeta.net), loosely translated as “sacred table,” the chic eatery combines the concept of open kitchen and laboratory.
That being said, the tasting menu has progressive, high-technique cuisine, albeit a strong influence of local specialties. The dishes are offered in seven course and 11-course dinners, with a few elements of surprise. For wine lovers, delectable wine pairing curated by the award-winning Juri Menicucci is a must try.
