<h2>ODE TO A TREE. <a title="Diptyque" href="http://www.diptyqueparis.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Diptyque</a>’s Philosykos is a tribute to Desmond Knox-Leet, a painter and one of the cofounders of the company, and his memory of the white house on the slopes of Mount Pelion in Thessaly where he lived during his Greek summers.</h2>

His sense memories of those walks through the fig groves informs Philosykos, so named for the friend of the fig tree referred to in the works of Plato. The scent is an ode to the lingering scent of those fig tree in all of their earthy, fresh and vibrant glory.
