The iconic fragrance turns to the deep sea for inspiration.
Davidoff was first launched in 1988 and it entirely reshaped the traditional fougère accord and created a brand new olfactive family that would revolutionize the world of perfumery and pioneer a new kind of masculine freshness. Davidoff Cool Water steps out with an attractive Aquaman-themed creation this season. This collector edition with a unique composition is signed by rising star perfumer Jerome di Marino who describes the creation as super-fresh, powerful and sophisticated. For the very first time, Davidoff Cool Water Summer edition marks an encounter between two contemporary masculine icons: the legendary fragrance and Aquaman, the king of the seven seas. Yes, we’re talking about Aquaman from DC Comics.
Di Marino boldly reinterprets Davidoff Cool Water’s signature splash of freshness through very contemporary neo-colognes. This type of fragrance explores new twists and focuses on highly qualitative ingredients while still traditionally infused by citrus.
Davidoff Cool Water Aquaman opens up with a burst of freshness from the sparkling zest of mandarin, infused with a rich note of black pepper, highlighting the virility of the fragrance. It closes with the deep and sensual note of guaiac wood that adds a seductive counterpoint.
“Cool Water is a legendary fragrance in perfume history. Its burst of freshness has changed the masculine archetypes,” said Jerome di Marino. “It was revolutionary and has opened the doors to the modern masculine patterns of perfumery. It’s a symbol of an undoubtable masculinity. With the new Aquaman edition, I wanted to translate the determination and the courage of this King of the seas. I wanted to share a bold fragrance echoing the modern statement of masculinity that Davidoff is offering today.”
