British fashion brand Burberry takes it signature pattern to the beach as Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee debuts a swimwear collection for the brand

Following his successful debut for the Burberry Fall 2023 collection in London Fashion Week in February, Daniel Lee has smoothly transitioned into directing the century-old British house in the upcoming seasons. Now, as summer approaches, the designer has already prepared his debut on the swimwear line. What sets this collection apart is the way Lee incorporated Burberry’s checked motif into an array of swimwear, shorts, robes and beach totes, highlighting the house’s heritage and craftsmanship. To celebrate the launch, Burberry has simultaneously released a campaign shot and filmed by Tyrone Lebon.

The campaign features an ensemble of models, including Alex Schlab, Ishmael Auguiste and Matheus Mesquita—all wearing the collection’s key pieces while enjoying their escape at the beach. As a final touch, Lee marked Burberry’s Equestrian Knight Design throughout the campaign in white and electric blue for the black-and-white photographs.
