<p>From April 11 to 13, 2025, a select group of DAMAN Gentlemen enjoyed a specially curated weekend at the stylish and art-inspired 25hours Hotel The Oddbird, located in the heart of Jakarta’s business district. More than just a stay, it was a fully immersive experience—complete with moments to explore, unwind and indulge in the hotel’s vibrant offerings.</p>
<p>25hours Hotel The Oddbird, part of the German-born 25hours Hotel chain, is celebrated for its bold and unconventional concepts. Designed by 1508 London, STYLT Trampoli and EDG Design Singapore, the hotel interior pays homage to Jakarta’s rich cultural mosaic. Its aesthetic blends the city’s dynamic contrasts—from towering skyscrapers to traditional markets—while channeling the timeless charm of mid-century modern design.</p>
<p>Managed by Ennismore and Accor, the hotel spans 38 floors above Ashta Mall in the SCBD District 8 complex. Its prime location grants guests easy access to Jakarta’s best shopping, dining, business and entertainment hubs.</p>

<p>The adventure began on Friday, April 11, when guests arrived at the concierge lobby of 25hours Hotel The Oddbird Jakarta. Immediately, they were greeted by a unique atmosphere that defied conventional hospitality. A central sculpture by Arkiv Vilmansa and a towering installation of Freitag bags set the tone for an imaginative journey.</p>
<p>Guests ascended to the main lobby, where the hotel’s design revealed a whimsical fusion of industrial grit and retro elegance. The space came alive with unique ornaments, retro-inspired revolving staircases and birdcage-style co-working areas. After checking in, they were escorted to their rooms.</p>

<p><span data-contrast="none">In the afternoon, guests gathered at the Oddbird Bar, where they were welcomed by Ronald Liem, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of <em>DAMAN</em>. Accompanied by Jesper Soerensen, General Manager of 25hours Hotel The Oddbird Jakarta, and his team, guests toured the hotel in detail. <p>Located on the 9th floor, the Cabana Pool offered a relaxed ambiance framed by stunning city views, lush greenery and cozy cabanas. Guests enjoyed the tranquil poolside atmosphere, soaking in Jakarta’s tropical charm.</p>
<p>The Creative Lounges—also on the 9th floor—stood out with their playful design and fully equipped amenities, including ping-pong tables, open pantries and meeting essentials. Each lounge took inspiration from cities like Florence, Hamburg, Berlin, New York and Copenhagen, creating a truly global vibe.</p>

<p>Later that evening, guests gathered for a welcome dinner at COPA Restaurant. Offering dishes inspired by South America’s vibrant culinary traditions, the menu included ceviche mixto, empanadas and grilled specialties. The setting echoed the warmth and spirit of Latin America, with vivid colors, rustic textures and an open kitchen that allowed guests to watch the chefs in action.</p>

<p>That evening, guests returned to the Oddbird Bar for signature weekend cocktails. Inspired by exotic birds, drinks like the Spice Finch and La Passera highlighted the bar’s eclectic spirit. Each cocktail was a masterful blend of bold flavors and creative flair—capturing the venue’s unique energy. With its fusion of classic, modern and industrial styles, the Oddbird Bar provided a vibrant yet laid-back space to connect and unwind.</p>
