DA MAN’s Pick for Best Dressed Men at 2017 Emmys

ON THE SMALL-SCREEN. With the best of television being awarded, we sought through the many red carpet arrivals to bring to you the best dressed men at this year’s Emmy’s

Every year the Emmy’s are held to celebrate and award the great names of the small screen. As television has so many categories, the Emmy’s are divided into primetime and daytime shows. As more and more of Hollywood’s big guns make their transition to the small screen, the Emmy’s primetime event only gets bigger every year. The fashion on the red carpet now equals that what is seen at the Oscars and Golden Globes. We look back at the many stylish actors that graced the red carpet last night as they made their way to the Emmy’s to bring you our pick of the best dressed gentlemen at the 2017 Emmy Awards.

Donald Glover

Dressed like a winner and doing so in absolute dapper style is comedian Donald Glover dressed in a purple Gucci ensemble. Glover went home that evening with an Emmy for ‘Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series’ and ‘Outstanding Lead in Actor in a Comedy’ for his work on the show “Atlanta”. It only goes to show that dressing like a winner will make you one.

Matt Bomer

The blue eyed actor seems to have continued his five o’clock shadow look from his recent Todd Snyder campaign, but Matt Bomer kept it formal in a nicely tailored tux.

Sterling K. Brown

The “This is Us” star put his best style foot forward, making his way through the red carpet sporting a Valentino suit and Jimmy Choo shoes. He completed the look by adding a Harry Winston timepiece around his wrist. Brown went away that evening for ‘Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama’.

Liev Schreiber

Once again nominated for his role in “Ray Donovan”, Liev Schreiber chose to walk the red carpet accompanied by his son Kai. THis was probably the best dressed duo of the evening as both wore matching tuxedos. A very adorable father and son combination.

Riz Ahmed

The Emmy’s this year was a night of many first’s, one of which was for Riz Ahmed who won the ‘Outstanding Acting in a Limited Series’ for his work on the mini series “The Night Of”, becoming the first actor of South Asian ethnicity to win the award. Ahmed took his award in style, sporting a slim fitted suit by Prada.

Milo Ventimiglia

Although he didn’t go home with an award that night, Milo Ventimiglia of the show “This is Us” looked every bit a winner in a tux by Ralph Lauren Purple. The look was complemented with a Tiffany CT60 chronograph in stainless steel timepiece.

Chris Sullivan

Another star from the show “This is Us”, Chris Sullivan takes his style on a more regal note, hitting the red carpet in a top hat, walking cane and a beautifully tailored suit by Brooks Brothers.

B.D. Wong

After many years on the small screen, B.D. Wong has finally landed his first ever Emmy Nomination for his role in the popular hacker TV show “Mr. Robot”. For his big night, Wong proved that a blue plaid suit looked way better than the awful suit and shorts ensemble he wore at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards a few days before.

Titus Burgess

If your tired of wearing the typical black suit to formal events, take a cue from actor Titus Burgess from the show “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” who arrived on the red carpet in a custom goldenrod raw silk jacket. A good way to be seen in a crowd, especially one as big as the primetime Emmy’s.

The Boys of “Stranger Things”

Last but not least are the boys from the Netflix hit “Stranger Things” They may all still be very young, but when it comes to red carpet style, you may want to take a page from these boys’ book. From left to right we have Finn Wolfhard in Prada, Noah Schnapp in Balmain, Gaten Matarazzo in Ted Baker and Caleb McLaughlin sporting a floral Garçon Couture jacket.

This year was a classy one for televisions greatest, and they all put their best fashion foot forward at this year’s 69th Annual Emmy Awards Show.
