Limited to only 20 pieces, Chopard’s Alpine Eagle Indonesia Edition timepiece radiates a contemporary and elegant character with its Lucent Steel A223 and ceramized titanium combination
Chopard’s Alpine Eagle collection was launched back in 2019. Inspired by the Alps and the imperious strength of the majestic eagle, the sport-chic Alpine Eagle timepiece collection was also a contemporary reinterpretation of St. Moritz, the first watch created by Karl-Friedrich Scheufele — Co-President of Chopard — back in 1980. This year, the Maison enriches the collection with the limited Alpine Eagle Indonesia edition.
Aesthetically, the Alpine Eagle design codes remain present in the new Alpine Eagle Indonesia edition. The 41mm watch is crafted from an elegant combination of two innovative metals chosen by the workshops: The Lucent Steel A223—an exclusive, ultra-resistant, light-reflective as well as innovative steel alloy exclusive to Chopard—and also ceramised titanium, which reflects the avant-garde spirit of the workshops and reinforces the sporty, light and ultra-contemporary look of the Alpine Eagle Indonesia Edition.
Moving to the front, the texture of its dial recalls an eagle’s iris. To top it off, its sunburst motif and its salmon-pink shades evoke the rosy-orange glow of sun rays glinting off snow-capped peaks at dawn and dusk. Beneath the dial, the watch is driven by the Chopard 01.01-C movement, which boasts a 60-hour power reserve. Interestingly, the movement is also visible through a transparent sapphire crystal at the back.
A particular standout feature from this new watch is arguably lies in this area. Of particular note, this transparent sapphire crystal is specially adorned with a depiction of the Indonesian archipelago, to recall the special destination of this limited series.
Finally, available as a limited edition of 20 pieces, Chopard’s Alpine Eagle Indonesia Edition is completed with a round case with stylized flanks, a crown engraved with a compass rose, a bezel with eight functional indexed screws as well as a bracelet with a single ingot-shaped link and topped by a raised central cap.
