Charlie Heaton fronts the new Loewe Campaign

Stranger Things actor and former DAMAN cover star Charlie Heaton is the new face of LOEWE‘s Spring/Summer 2020 menswear collection.

Photographed by the legendary lensman Steven Meisel, LOEWE’s new campaign captures the British actor in a moment of introspection.

The 25-year-old star is photographed wearing a LOEWE ankle-length white tank top paired with cotton poplin shorts. In a dramatic fashion, he observes his reflection in a mirror, his smeared lipstick imbuing an element of ambiguity as to the character he is about to become.

Along with Heaton’s campaign hero image, creative director Jonathan Anderson with Meisel and creative agency M/M (Paris) also released two other compelling images.

Taken from a new series titled “A Show of Hands” to be released later in the year, the second image is of a tattooed fist grasping a grassy clump of earth against a grey background—a symbol of protest for today’s turbulent times.

Completing the triptych is the new Grand Puzzle Bag. The new edition of the Puzzle is characterised by bold rugby stripes—both a nod to Jonathan Anderson’s family legacy and an homage to the iconography of this most earthly of sports. The bag is handcrafted from calfskin leather in Spain.
