After his much panned first show for Celine last season, Hedi Slimane returns with a show at Paris Men&#8217;s Fashion Week that looked more like a statement that the new Celine is Slimane&#8217;s Celine.

Slimane named his show &#8220;A London Diary: Polaroids of the British Youth,&#8221; taking inspirations from his travels to the British capital of fashion and music. The latter became something that he described as &#8220;where the collection began to build itself around.&#8221;

Translating these elements into the show, it was supported by two of his musical idols, the Canadian collective Crack Cloud and New York jazz-new wave legend, James Chance. CC provided the show&#8217;s soundtrack, while Chance performed live on the runway with his sax.

As for the collection, all the signature Slimane was there: black lean silhouettes, skinny pants, leather jackets and sunglasses. But with various winter outers of tweeds, donegals and cashmere, Slimane certainly gave another dimension &#8211; a very British one indeed.
