Celebrities from around the world have been taking to social media to share what they’ve been up to while they #StayAtHome. From live streaming concerts in their living rooms to celebrating their birthdays at home, here are some of our favorite names in show biz and what they’ve been doing in self-isolation.

Chris Martin & John Legend

Some of the biggest names in pop music, such as Coldplay singer Chris Martin and musician slash world-admired husband John Legend, are turning to social media to perform impromptu and casually-intimate concerts from their living rooms to cheer up their live-performance-deprived fans. Leading the way, Martin did an half-hour Instagram piano concert of various Coldplay hits, some David Bowie and even requests from the chat. John Legend, wearing a bathrobe with “no pants,” later followed suit with an intimate session from his living room accompanied by his wife Chrissy Teigan wearing a towel and sipping wine.

Liam Gallagher

Known for being the more humorous and less serious Gallagher brother, the former Oasis frontman uploaded some homemade videos of himself on his Instagram account promoting the importance of washing our hands in the most entertaining way possible. Inwhat looks like the kitchen, Liam playfully washed his hands while transforming classic hits like “Wonderwall” and “Champagne Supernova” into anthems about washing your hands and using soap. So, now we have a new list of songs to wash our hands to.

Justin Timberlake

Former ‘N Sync member and pop icon Justin Timberlake shared a photo of himself standing on a snowy field surrounded by mountains—taking self isolation to a whole other level. “I hope you guys are staying safe and healthy. We need to stick together and look out for each other during this crazy time,” he wrote in the caption. “Go through my stories for some ways you can support your local communities. While there’s a lot of chaos and confusion right now, there’s also a lot of good and so many ways to help.”

Justin Bieber

The COVID-19 pandemic forced Justin Bieber to cancel his 2020 world tour promoting his latest album, “Changes.” Since then, Biebs and his wife Hailey Bieber has been doing several TikTok dance challenges, including the ones set to Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” and MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This.” He joined the social media platform last year to promote “Yummy,” the lead single from “Changes,” by inventing his own challenge featuring “Come Around Me.” You can follow the challenge using the hashtag #ComeAroundMeChallenge.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Quite a few soccer players have shown their ability to set the internet on fire with unique videos showcasing their off-court antiques. In this case, England soccer athlete and Liverpool forward Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain recently took the global soccer community by storm with a viral video of him and his girlfriend Perrie Edwards dancing on a marble staircase while wearing socks—something that needs to be done with extra care.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

When you’re a Hollywood legend and a former governor of Californa, it’s not all that surprising when your #StayAtHome activities become rather extra awesome. Arnold Schwarzenegger, as it turns out, hasbeen spending time with his four-legged friends: Whiskey the pony and Lulu the donkey. “The important thing is that you stay home,” the actor-turned-politician said while feeding and petting his furry friends. He later told viewers that people above 65 are not allowed to leave their homes in California, “so we stay home, and we eat here… We don’t go out. We don’t go to restaurants. We don’t do anything like that anymore here.”

Shawn Mendes

Singer Shawn Mendes is reportedly stuck in the home of his girlfriend’s—Camila Cabello—parents. And they are making the most of their time together. The couple began their relationship late last year after the steamy rendition of Mendes’ “Señorita” at the 2019 VMA’s. One of Cabello’s Instagram Stories showed the two teaching each other how to play the guitar and speak Spanish. Talk about completing each other…

Lil Nas X & John Boyega

One of the worst things about the global COVID-19 pandemic is not being able to celebrate your birthdays with your circle of friends from outside. But rapper Lil Nas X and actor John Boyega has shared how they’re trying to make the most of each other’s big days at home. While Lil Nas X showcased how he put on lighting fixtures with nobody there to see it, “Star Wars” actor John Boyega—who is actually a big fan of the Japanese anime/manga series “Naruto”—opted to celebrate with those closest to him.
