Calvin Klein released their new Fall 2019 Calvin Klein Underwear campaign video, titled #MYCALVINS IRL.
The video strips down and gets personal with some of the world’s hottest stars and gets personal to showcase the unfiltered of sexy side of these stars “IRL” or in real life—and in their Calvin’s—in contrast of what the stars are like in the eye of the public.
Directed by Bardia Zeinali, the video features some of the world’s hottest male stars: NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., The Kissing Booth and Euphoria’s Jacob Elordi, world renowned DJ and producer Diplo, Exo’s Lay Zhang, and American actor and international model Matthew Noszka. Naomi Campbell, Bella Hadid, and a cast of other like-wise hot female stars was also featured in the video. Zeinali directs the stars to pose suggestively for their webcams, dancing, watching TV and eating snacks, all while the camera gets plenty of closeups of their Calvins.
“[It] celebrates two totally different perspectives of what sexy looks like,” writes Calvin Klein in its campaign notes. “The result blurs the line between the public image and private realities of our unapologetic cast and asks the question, ‘How do you do sexy? Perfectly filtered or IRL raw?”
The campaign also involves images shot by photographer Daniel Jackson. The photo series show a set of photo, with one being black and white while the other in color. The stars contrasting images was meant to portray how their sexiness differ between their public and private personas. On the left, expertly composed black-and-white images illustrate what the public sees and posed sexiness, while the right slightly flash photo displays how sexy can be laid back.
