OMEGA’s newest ambassador, British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, brings a legacy of cinematic excellence and personal passion for timepieces to the iconic Swiss watchmaker
Aaron Taylor-Johnson has joined OMEGA’s family of global ambassadors, lending his on-screen intensity and deep appreciation for craftsmanship to the legendary Swiss watch brand. The British actor, known for standout roles in both independent films and major blockbusters, adds his name to a roster that includes George Clooney, Nicole Kidman, Eddie Redmayne, Naomie Harris and Daniel Craig.
To mark the start of the partnership, Taylor-Johnson visited OMEGA’s headquarters in Biel, Switzerland, where he toured the brand’s cutting-edge manufacturing facilities and renowned heritage museum. The experience offered a rare glimpse into the mechanical precision and artistry behind each OMEGA timepiece. Reflecting on his visit, he shared, “I have always had an appreciation for timepieces but especially for Omega. Now, after visiting the factory, I am in awe of the skill required to manufacture such a luxurious product.”

Taylor-Johnson’s career began on the West End stage before he moved into film, with early roles in “Shanghai Knights,” “Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging” and his breakout performance as John Lennon in “Nowhere Boy.” His filmography also includes “Kick-Ass,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “The Wall,” “Kraven,” “Nosferatu” and his award-winning turn in “Nocturnal Animals.”
“My interest in watches first began with my dad who introduced me to Omega, if you can believe it,” he recalled. “He was working class and saved his earnings to purchase an Omega watch.” On becoming an ambassador, he added, “I place significant value on relationships that are genuine and built on mutual passion and respect. With that, it’s a tremendous honor to be selected as a Brand Ambassador.”
During his visit to Switzerland, Taylor-Johnson wore the Speedmaster First OMEGA in Space on a brown leather strap—a vintage-inspired model that pays tribute to the brand’s pioneering role in space history.
