Tiger’s eye meets yellow gold in Louis Vuitton’s latest Escale, a limited-edition watch where shifting light, texture and craft take center stage

Louis Vuitton continues to explore the dialogue between natural materials and high horology with the Escale Tiger’s Eye, a limited-edition 40mm watch where tiger’s eye and 18-carat yellow gold create a luminous, shifting spectacle. Limited to just 30 pieces, this showpiece marks the first time yellow gold has appeared in the Escale collection.
The maison’s signature “Art of Travel” is evoked through a monolithic case ring of tiger’s eye that frames a matching stone dial. Polished gold surfaces and mineral sheen create a visual warmth that shifts with the light, revealing a luminous dialogue between raw earth and precious metal.

Beneath the surface, the chronometer-certified Calibre LFT023, complete with a 22-carat rose gold micro-rotor, ensures the mechanical performance matches the watch’s aesthetic brilliance. Finished with a Savannah brown saffiano leather strap, the Escale Tiger’s Eye is a wearable landscape of nature’s spontaneous artistry and human savoir-faire, proving that Louis Vuitton’s horological journey is only becoming more adventurous.
