Bvlgari, the Roman Jeweler of Time, introduces its latest novelties at the LVMH Watch Week Dubai 2020. One particular highlight from the show is none other than the new Octo Finissimo Automatic in Black Sandblast-Polished Ceramic. This watch features a new sandblast-polished ceramic case, bracelet, and sandblasted ceramic dial.
As we can see upfront, the new watch from the record-breaking Octo Finissimo collection also comes with a new signature monochromatic look, which alternates matte and brilliant surfaces, thus reflecting light in a way that feels fresh, innovative and new at the same time.
To achieve the case’s extraordinary thinness (5.50mm thick with transparent case-back) in fine ceramic is a difficult feat and requires the Roman Jeweler’s daring and delicate touch, to say the least.
All in all, the Bvlgari Octo Finissimo is completed with mechanical manufacture movement BVL138 Finissimo caliber—which adorned with Côtes de Genève motif and 60-hour power reserve—Bvlgari once again rewrites the rules of contemporary watches with innovative new finishes, while surely channels that rare fusion of edgy Italian design and Swiss engineering.
