Bvlgari Collaborates with Tadao Ando for the Limited Edition of Octo Finissimo

Roman Jeweler Bvlgari launched a new iteration of the Octo Finissimo.

Titled Octo Finissimo Tadao Ando Edition—as it is a collaboration with Japanese architect Tadao Ando—the watch features a case bearing futuristic lines along with a dial conceived by Ando and printed in black lacquer.

It is, by and large, a very unique and distinctive dial. A spiral motif arising from the seconds’ hand—which is positioned near 8 o’clock—creates the image of a wave rippling across the entire dial. The movement powering the watch, the automatic BVL 138, is visible through a sapphire case-back and has Ando’s signature as a final addition.

Above all, with an extremely attractive look and also limited to only 200 pieces, this watch surely moves forward to the extreme of thinness without compromising on the bold Italian style, while expresses the beauty honed by Japan’s leading architect, Tadao Ando.
