It’s still a year ahead, but Burberry and Ricardo Tisci can’t seem to hold back their creative impulses, as they’ve already revealed the upcoming fall/winter 2019 pre-collection!
One of the best fashion partnerships happening at the moment, Tisci’s arrival at the British fashion house brought both groundbreaking developments as well as a deep respect for their long history. Other than changing the emblem and monogram, the Italian designer’s first collection for SS19 was lauded as one of the most successful of the season.
Now, without any clue nor warning, they decided to surprise us yet again with the showcase of the upcoming collection. Just like the “Kingdom” collection last September, Tisci again experimented with streetwear and luxury blend, but more seasonal this time. With that, comes different silhouettes of coats with different materials – army green, black, and khaki seem to be the preferred palette.
Some of the more interesting pieces are the formal attires, like the house monogram patterned suit, the chic winter army officer or the return of the pinstripes. The collection will most likely be presented at one of the top fashion weeks next February, and ready for sale in May.
