Fall/Winter 2019 is a major show for Parisian fashion maison Lanvin. Presented in 13th century Musée de Cluny, the show called Mystic Pilgrims is, in many ways, a renaissance for the global brand. It is the debut of Bruno Sialelli, their newly appointed Creative Director for men and women.
Sialelli showcased a collection of contrasting moods: from nautical to bucolic and regal to childlike. It was loaded with powdery pastel shades, sensual fabrications, and a number of prints and patterns ranging from Norwegian blankets, exotic Fair Isles, and giant clan tartans. The collection personifies energy, freshness, and playfulness.
It is a great start to the new era at Lanvin.
