Brendon Babenzien is J.Crew’s Men’s Creative Director

With his solid résumé, Babenzien is sure to bring positive change in his new position

A short while ago, Noah co-founder and ex-Supreme design director Brendon Babenzien has been announced as J.Crew’s Men’s Creative Director. Babenzien will work alongside J.Crew Group CEO Libby Waddle to redefine the brand, merging the vitality and creativity of today’s style subcultures with an innovative appreciation of classic menswear. For more than a decade, Babenzien has helped Supreme rise to the top of the fashion pyramid, and since 2015, he has run Noah, making prep-meet-punk staples geared toward kids who grew up on his Supreme clothes.

Babenzien says that he will make use of lessons from both of those brands at J.Crew. As for what Babenzien will bring to J.Crew, he says the focus is on evolution rather than reinvention. He is also going to be working on proposing some solid brand collabs too. Babenzien’s first collection for J.Crew is expected to debut in the second half of 2022.
