The partnership extends across Aston Martin’s wider universe, from the handcrafted performance cars built in Gaydon and St Athan to the relentless tempo of the Grand Prix calendar. Its most immediate expression, however, arrives on the wrist. The Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team edition channels the visual and mechanical language of racing into one of Breitling’s most recognizable instruments, reconnecting the historic pilot’s chronograph with the drama of the circuit at a moment when global attention is turning once again to the starting grid.

Parallels between the two marques stretch back more than a century. In 1907, Leon Breitling introduced the Vitesse, an early chronograph capable of measuring speeds up to 250 miles or kilometers per hour—a tool precise enough for Swiss police to issue the first speeding tickets. Around the same period in England, Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford were forging their own legacy on the climb at Aston Hill, a victory that would give Aston Martin its name. Across the decades that followed, aviation, endurance racing and cinematic cool repeatedly intertwined their stories, from drivers who wore Navitimers in the cockpit and on the grid to the enduring Bond-era symbolism of the 1960s.
That heritage informs the new timepiece. Limited to 1,959 pieces in tribute to Aston Martin’s first Formula One entry, the chronograph introduces several firsts for the Navitimer line, including a lightweight titanium case and a carbon-fiber dial inspired by materials found inside an F1 cockpit. Racing Green and lime accents echo the team’s livery, while the textured leather strap subtly references a racing harness. The result is a watch that feels engineered rather than merely styled—purposeful, legible and built for motion.

Visible through a sapphire caseback, the movement is paired with a matte-black tungsten rotor bearing the Aston Martin Formula One Team logo alongside engravings that underscore the edition’s collectability. It serves as a mechanical reminder that in both watchmaking and racing, precision is never accidental.
The collaboration will move quickly from unveiling to action. Breitling branding is set to appear on the Aston Martin Aramco car and team apparel as the AMR26 is revealed, before the partnership makes its competitive debut at the Australian Grand Prix on 8 March—the race that launches the 2026 championship season and signals Formula One’s return to full throttle. Further co-created releases are expected across the multi-year alliance, suggesting this first Navitimer is less a finale than a starting signal.
