American legend Bob Dylan and his fellow rock musicians star in the latest Celine Homme campaign “Portrait of a Performer” directed by none other than Hedi Slimane herself

While some people may possess talent in both fashion design and photography, not everyone can excel at both. One notably exception is Hedi Slimane, who has made a name of himself as a talented fashion designer and photographer. Since stepping in as Celine’s creative director in 2018, Slimane has gained acclaim for his black-and-white portrait series.

Continuing his photography project, Slimane has recently unveiled the new “Portrait of a Musician” series for Celine Homme collection, featuring legendary rock hero Bob Dylan. Shot in Los Angeles, the 81-year-old musician poses with his guitar as he wears Celine Homme’s recent pieces: an iconic black leather jacket, slim pants and signature aviators. To further extend the series, the designer and avid photographer has also released other pictures starring fellow rockers Julian Casablancas of The Strokes and Paul Banks of Interpol. The series perfectly flaunts the musician’s suavity with the dark, sophisticated, timeless aesthetic mood the brand has effortlessly cultivated, making the whole series a trademark of his own.
