2024&#8217;s award season continued in London with the 77th British Academy Film Awards, or the BAFTAs, which took place at the Royal Festival Hall. Hosted by acclaimed Scottish actor David Tennant, the ceremony commemorates the most stellar performances in films from a British point of view. On that note, &#8220;Oppenheimer&#8221; and &#8220;Poor Things&#8221; became the leading titles, winning seven and five categories, respectively.
The lead actor from &#8220;Oppenheimer,&#8221; Cillian Murphy, won the coveted Best Actor title and also scored big on the red-carpet with an all-black ensemble from Zegna. Other attention-grabbers of the evening include David Beckham, Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan and Rami Malek.
