Parisian watchmaker Bell &amp; Ross, renowned for its aviation-inspired timepieces, takes a bold step forward by introducing the BR 03-92 Diver Black &amp; Green Bronze. This latest addition to the brand’s acclaimed diver series seamlessly blends functionality with a striking aesthetic, solidifying its position at the forefront of instrument watch design.
With a reputation for crafting professional-grade watches that prioritize legibility, precision, and reliability, the brand certainly knows a thing or two about the diver’s watches. Bell &amp; Ross has showcased its depth of expertise in nautical matters since 1997, starting with the Hydromax. As the brand’s first diving watch, the Hydromax set a world record for its waterproof rating of up to 11,100 meters. It also features a patented transparent fluorinated oil.
Fast forward ten years , and a second diver watch emerged in the BR 02 collection. This new watch was waterproof to 1,000 meters and comes equipped with a helium decompression valve as well as an ultra-resistant domed sapphire crystal, which are essential elements for saturation diving.
The story then continues with the arrival of the BR 03-92 Diver model in 2017. It came with a new aesthetic but was still faithful to the brand’s DNA, particularly in terms of showcasing the functionality of dashboard instruments on military aircraft, which are combined with the now -signature “rounded square” case.
A year later, Bell &amp; Ross added a remarkable new variation, cutting the 42 x 42mm square case in a quality material with strong ties to the marine world: bronze. This year, the new BR 03-92 Diver Black &amp; Green Bronze translates those abovementioned core principles into a form that thrives beneath the waves.

As its name suggests, the BR 03-92 Diver Black &amp; Green Bronze immediately catches the eye with its unique material combination. The bronze case, favored for historical dive watches thanks to its natural corrosion resistance, develops a rich patina, lending a touch of vintage charm and personalized character that develops over time. Bell &amp; Ross then complemented this earthy robustness with a brilliant green dial—a color often associated with the captivating mystery of the deep sea.
Unsurprisingly, the BR 03-92 Diver Black &amp; Green Bronze looks very handsome on the wrist. Both the black rubber strap and the synthetic canvas option that comes with a Velcro closure ensures that the watch remains completely versatile. Turning the watch around also reveals the iconic diver’s helmet design, now engraved in hypoallergenic stainless steel on the back of the watch.

On a more technical note, the watch uses the CuSn8 alloy with a composition of 92 percent copper and eight percent tin. This gives the watch an aesthetic element reminiscent of sailboat fittings. Combined with its overall neo-retro look and a highly readable dial thanks to its blend of green and bronze, the BR 03-92 Diver Black &amp; Green Bronze comes off as bold yet sophisticated.
Beneath this new visual composition, this limited-edition watch (only 999 pieces are produced) is powered by the BR-CAL.302 mechanical self-winding movement with a 54-hour power reserve. The watch is also water-resistant up to 300 meters, making it perfect for diving and other water activities for the modern-day adventurer.
