After teasing through their social media with a closeup shot of one of the pieces, apparently the A Bathing Ape and Paris Saint Germain collaboration capsule is ready to be released.
The duo have published three more promotional photos, showing more pieces such as the signature full-face zipped hoodie, the puffer coat and vest, shorts and T-shirts.
Shot at PSG’s homeground, the Parc des Princes, the collection comes mostly in the colors of the soccer club’s banners: the red, blue and white – which also combined with BAPE’s iconic camo pattern. The tops especially stood out, bearing both their own emblem and the Japanese streetwear’s ape head on both sides of the chest.
The collection is released for celebratory reasons: BAPE’s Paris flagship store first anniversary, and also the brand’s 25th overall. While for PSG, this capsule marks their name firmer on the streetwear scene, after the team’s took Jordan as their new official jersey maker.
BAPE are projected to unveil the full collection on Monday, where it will start on sale at the said La Marais store, as well as both BAPE and PSG’s webstores.
