PULL-STRING PLAYER. It makes us feel old to say, but in the age of iTunes and Spotify, CDs seem like an increasingly quaint throwback to the pre-digital era. That is why the Muji Wall Mounted CD Player is the perfect device to play the hundreds of CDs still stashed around your house.
The elegant and compact player, created by renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, is designed to show off the artwork of your CD in motion, and it is activated with a simple and charming draw string mechanism. Simply give the string a gentle tug and set your disc spinning.
The speakers are built directly into the body of the CD player, meaning no clunky cords to deal with. Volume and search controls are placed on the top of the player, which also comes with a small remote control.
The CD player is available in white or black and its small profile and light weight mean you can place it in your kitchen, bathroom or anywhere else you want to add a little music to.
