Swedish designer Sagaform works with the country’s best designers to make kitchen wear and other home accessories that are classy but imbued with a sense of kitsch fun as well.
They work great as gifts or as talking points at your own dinner party. Take, for example, their Schnapps Carafe and Ice Container. Schnapps is actually the German word for any kind of strong alcoholic drink, the kind generally imbibed in small portions – thus the four shot glasses held inside the carafe. The sturdy but stylish container is made from hand blown gas and features an ice box at the bottom that will keep your four shots of schnapps chilled to the touch and smooth to the taste. The four multicolored shot glasses will make sure you and three of your best friends have a very merry night indeed. Available at Aksara.
