British shoe brand Clarks showcases its appreciation for British music in a new campaign featuring Alexander Skarsgård
Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård teams up with Clarks for the brand’s spring/summer 2020 campaign. It was certainly a perfect match as Skarsgård, who has been wearing the iconic Desert Boot since he was a kid, matches Clarks’ unique heritage. “I’m always going to go for the Desert Boot, it’s my all-time favorite. It’s iconic,” the star of “True Blood” and “Generation Kill” explained.
The campaign itself, themed “Then.Now.Always,” pays homage to Britain’s music scene throughout the decades and celebrates the culture that adopted Clarks. Shot in London by photographer Mikael Jansson and styled by George Cortina, the campaign series showcases Skarsgård wearing Clarks’ ss20 collection, in both casual and more formal looks, highlighting the eclectic mix of styles and silhouettes for the season.
