Alexander McQueen’s Tread Slick Sneakers in Nature

The famous sneakers are lensed by various photographers from all around the world.

Ethan James Green – Clerkenwell, London, UK

The Tread Slick was first seen in Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2020 pre-collection. Since then, it has become one of the brand’s most popular shoes. It features an oversized rubber sole with a canvas upper in block colors such as white, black and red. It comes in two silhouettes: low-top and high-top form.

Luis Alberto Rodriguez – Neukölln, Berlin, Germany

The shoe is inspired by the Industrial Revolution and workwear boots, with Alexander McQueen branding on the tongue. All in all, it is a lighter incarnation of its leather predecessor, The Tread Boot.

Alice Schillaci – Milan, Italy

To celebrate the Tread Slick line and how it has become a pillar of the brand, Alexander McQueen has enlisted a range of photographers to capture the shoes in their own environments. Some of the photographers are also featured in the #McQueenCreators Nature project. The resulting images see the sneaker captured in locations all across London such as Peckham, Hackney and Clerkenwell, as well as Milan, Berkshire, Berlin and Bourgeauville in France.
