<p data-start="486" data-end="818">Michele continued to shape his new era at Valentino with &#8220;Fireflies,&#8221; a Spring/Summer 2026 collection centered on light as both symbol and design principle. Drawing inspiration from Italian filmmaker and poet Pier Paolo Pasolini, he reinterpreted fireflies as small but persistent sparks that endure through darkness.</p>

<p>On the runway, Michele extended his lighter touch to the men’s lineup, moving away from ornate detailing toward soft tailoring and fluid proportions. Blazers came unstructured in washed silk and light wool, paired with loose shirts or high-waisted trousers that draped with ease. Suits appeared in jewel tones such as deep sapphire, ivory and chartreuse while silk shirts added gentle flashes of coral and rose.</p>

<p data-start="235" data-end="391">Poplin and velvet coats enhanced the sense of movement, while shorts and flat sandals lent the looks a relaxed finish. Accessories remained understated—slim leather belts, flat pouches and softly knotted scarves added texture without excess. In the end, &#8220;Fireflies&#8221; marked a subtle yet confident shift for Valentino, proving that elegance shines brightest when it moves lightly.</p>
