A new chapter of the story between adidas and WOOD WOOD has been revealed.
The long relationship between the two brands traces back to 2006 and, this time, the duo presented a new collaborative collection. A new take on the signature Adidas Originals Forum Low by WOOD WOOD’s co-founder Brian SS Jansen, the collection also marks the Danish brand’s 20th anniversary. The reimagined sneakers now come with the absence of the Velcro fastening that informed the original creation, while still highlighting the co-branding throughout the pieces. Paying homage to the piece’s debut in the ’80s, Jensen used vibrant retro colors for the Three Stripe variations, including burnt orange, yellow and electric blue. Furthermore, a detail that marks the label’s anniversary can be found embossed on the insoles.
