Born from sport worn for style, adidas reveals an all-new label – adidas Sportswear
After five decades of anticipation, adidas is finally ready to release its new line of apparel and footwear – and it’s all thanks to the loyal fans who have been with the brand since day one. adidas recently announced that they were ending their relationship with Kanye West, leaving Yeezy collectors feeling heartbroken. But, in the end, the brand’s long time fans can find solace in what’s next for them: the chance to get their hands on the newest, most innovative products adidas has to offer.
The new line dubbed Sportswear is standing between the Originals and Performance lines, specifically targeted to those who love style as well as practicality. Sportswear spans athleisure-like collections and features items like football jerseys, tracksuits, jackets, shoes and more made from performance materials. Combining the best of its already-established technologies with stylish detailing does not compromise on comfort and has been designed in a way that ensures true versatility when worn.
To celebrate the launch, the brand has appointed rising star Jenna Ortega as its official ambassador, with support from esteemed figures in the sports world. Professional basketball player Trae Young, Women’s Super League forward Mary Fowler, Premier League’s golden boot winner Son Heung-min, and gamer Carolina Voltan have all been tapped to promote the new line.
Sportswear will launch worldwide in stores and online by February 9, 2023.
