A STUDY IN PINK. Thomas Pink illustrates the art of personalization with its made-to-order service
It’s a matter of international affairs for London-based Thomas Pink, which worked together with Italian mill Albini to produce Made in the UK shirting, a part of the brand’s “Personally Pink” made-to-order service.
Late last year, the service was launched at Thomas Pink’s London flagship on Jermyn Street and several other stores throughout the city. “Personally Pink” has since ben made available across the pond in its New York flagship and other locations in New Jersey, Virginia and San Fransisco.
What distinguishes “Personally Pink” from other similar services is the introduction of Sea Island cotton. With a 120s-thread count, the Sea Island is extremely soft to wear and said to be the world’s finest cotton.
To celebrate the launch, Thomas Pink has also released a short film, starring renowned fashion artist David Downton, who has done illustrations for the likes of “Vogue” and “Vanity Fair.”
