<h2>HORI, one of the world’s first third-party console accessories makers, has pulled the curtain back on Switch controllers decorated with Pikachu, Poké Balls, and Eevees.</h2>

Pokémon fans rejoice, as a new set of Nintendo Switch accessories and controllers featuring some of our favorite pocket monsters are coming to retailers this holiday. Trainers everywhere are already gearing up to visit The Crown Tundra later this month for the second expansion of Pokémon Sword and Shield&#8217;s Expansion Pass, which will also include The Isle of Armor. Bringing new monsters to capture and new areas to explore, this DLC is currently scheduled for release on October 22, 2020.

Back to the new controllers, HORI will release the Split Pad Pro Controllers and D-Pad Controllers. The Split Pad Pro, with a slightly bulkier handle compared to the default Joy-Cons, has been decorated in two styles—one displaying both Pikachu and Eevee and one with just Pikachu. Closely resembling Joy-Cons, the D-Pad controller is made with the same dimensions; the only difference between the two is that the D-Pad control replaces the Joy-Con’s four buttons; it also only works in handheld mode. Both controllers come in colorways of black and mint green.

The D-Pad Controller looks just like a traditional left Joy-Con, but it replaces the four buttons with a D-Pad. It should be just the thing for those that enjoy 2D fighting games like &#8220;Street Fighter.? It should be noted, however, that the D-Pad Controller works exclusively in handheld mode. This one features a black finish, with yellow lightning bolts and everyone&#8217;s favorite Electric-Mouse type.
