A lookback at the DAMAN x Bvlgari Gentlemen Dinner at Dharmawangsa Hotel

In an exclusive afternoon attended by VIPs and friends of the magazine, Bvlgari showcased some of the finest watches for refined gents from one of its most celebrated collections: the Octo Finissimo

Bvlgari, in collaboration with DA MAN, held a private dinner on the October 21 at the Dharmawangsa Hotel, to showcase the latest Octo series of watches. Quite appropriately, the dinner itself featured dishes created by Chef Stefano Artosin from Bvlgari Resort Bali.

Besides the food, however, the actual star of the afternoon was the Octo Finissimo collection of fine timepieces. Featuring the Octo’s defining octagonal case and an open display case back, the Octo Finissimo line of watches is stunning from every angle. With every facet of the piece being meticulously designed, and lovingly finished, each Octo Finissimo is an amazing piece to say the least.

Speaking of which, a particular highlight on display during the event was the Octo Finissimo Skeleton C9 Red. This limited-edition watch features a skeletonized dial which showcases the amazingly finished movement, a seconds sub dial, and another sub dial for the power reserve indicator. Only 180 pieces of the Skeleton C9 Red are made, and only two made its way to Indonesia.

The collection also featured a treat for the more mechanically-attuned gents present that evening, namely with the in-house Bvlgari BVL128SK Finissimo calibre. At just over two millimeters thick, the movement is a true mechanical marvel and the reason why the new Octo Finissimo watches are so light and thin.
