New year, new look. This month there are three fresh kicks to cop from the latest collaborations of luxury and streetwear brands.
1. Adidas x Prada
Seems like a partnership has no peak, Prada for adidas Limited edition has unveiled their newest collection as a duo—by presenting the Prada Superstar sneaker, a signature of adidas Originals style and a Prada Bowling bag for adidas, which also can be use as the adidas gym bag. The collections are represent the world sports, a style that provides to define the shared narratives and intersecting heritages of Prada and adidas. Each pieces of the collections are Made in Italy by Prada, which pointing the superlative quality synonymous with the brand and its incomparable experience in accessories and 106-year history as a luxury leather goods house. Furthermore, this collaboration is all about manufacturing, a respect to the 50 years of the Superstar, a complete style icon—that has been going through five decades without having to crossing its boundaries.
2. Missoni
Italian House Missoni has teamed up once again with Adidas Consortium for the PulseBoost HD collection, which has been recreated with Missoni’s signature colorful knitwear on the uppers. The three new pairs of shows are available in Raw White/Ftwr White/Active Orange, Tech Mint/Core Burgundy and Core Burgundy/Core Black. Two of the three models have multi-colored knitting on the uppers that is quite reminiscent of the last collaboration between the two brands, while the third one features woven graphics in a linear fashion at the forefoot and on the heel tabs.
3. PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 Para-Noise
Well-known as a style icon across Asia, G-Dragon is finally making a comeback in the fashion industry. And this time around, he’s introducing the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 Para-Noise collaboration. The Korean singer-songwriter really relates to this collection thanks in no small part to the way he’s always been linked to the hip-hop scene. Nike, meanwhile, stated that the sneakers were created based on G-Dragon’s interest in fashion, music, art, culture, sport and everything he’s curious about. Enlarged daisies appear as embellishments on the tongues of the sneakers, with the low-cut AF1 models featuring premium leather uppers painted over with a special black coating that will slowly wear away to show an actual artwork by G-Dragon hidden behind it.
