The first trailer for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” which debuted a while ago, raised quite a lot of interest as it hints how the movie will delve deep into the origins of Rocket Racoon and also Star Lord. The movie shows how the band of misfits are just settling into Knowhere when Rocket’s troubled past seeps into their present lives. Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), who is still struggling with the loss of Gamora (Zoë Saldana), must unite his squad around him to safeguard one of their own while also defending the universe. A mission that, if it is not successfully carried out, might bring about the demise of the Guardians as we know them. But now, after centuries of servitude, he desperately wants to escape from his toxic, bloodthirsty boss.

The fifth entry and second standalone film in the “Evil Dead” series, “Evil Dead Rise” tells the twisted tale of two estranged siblings: Ellie (Alyssa Sutherland) and his older sister Beth (Lily Sullivan). As the story opens, Beth visits Ellie, who is single-handedly caring for three children in a crowded apartment in Los Angeles. The sister’s get-together is cut short when a mysterious book, known as the Necronomicon or the Book of the Dead, is found buried deep within the bowels of Ellie’s building. Ellie becomes possessed by flesh-eating demons, forcing her and her family into a struggle for survival as they confront the most nightmare-inducing form of a family that one could ever imagine.
