Tudor Heritage Black Bay 36: A Slimmer Option

PUNCHING ABOVE ITS WIDTH. Maintaining Tudor’s iconic Heritage Black Bay aesthetic, this new model comes with a 36mm diameter, making it an option for a wider audience

The Heritage Black Bay 36 retains the general aesthetics of this particular line of watches, yet with a smaller diameter.

The Heritage Black Bay 36 model by Tudor retains the general lines of this particular family of watches, yet the proportions have been reduced accordingly. Its 36mm diameter stainless steel case (hence the name) makes it a versatile option as well as a great introduction to the Heritage Black Bay aesthetics for those with slimmer wrists. It is also an attractive formal option for the essentially sporty timepiece. Moreover, the 36mm diameter fits the bill for either male or female wrists, suitable for his-and-hers gifts or such.

Like other models in the Heritage Black Bay family, this model features a dial reminiscent of Tudor’s classic 1950s divers’ watches. The iconic snowflake hand on a shiny black dial exudes a modern appeal, and the round hour markers create a full and well-balanced dial. Tudor has re-instated the shield symbol on the dial and the 36 is the last remaining Heritage Black Bay with curved text on the bottom half of the dial, as all the other new Heritage Black Bay models feature straight-lined text. With a choice of a stainless steel bracelet or a lightly distressed beige-colored leather strap with a steel folding clasp, each of Tudor’s Heritage Black Bay 36 also comes with an additional strap in urban camouflage fabric, which is also a signature feature of Tudor’s Heritage line.
