British clothing retail duo Topshop and Topman have released their first ever joint campaign welcoming the fall/winter fashion season. Dubbed as “Topshop IT”, both brands aim to infuse more lively passion through the collection into their loyal customers.
“For our creative approach we wanted to bring the brands to life; Topshop IT is a celebration of what makes us unique; championing our customers’ individuality, exploring what fashion means to them and how they style our pieces to express themselves,” explains creative director David Hägglund. “It is eye-catching, full of vibrant colour and has a youthful spirit. We will be using video, photography and music across high impact billboards and digital channels, pushing boundaries to make this a truly 360 global campaign.”
The campaign has some notable names in their arsenal. Other than shot by Daniel Jackson, the campaign brings together an energetic line-up of eight trail blazing stars, each individually expressing how they would ‘Topshop it’ – while wrapped in the new collection of course. The energetic eight comprises of Presley Gerber, Duckie Thot, Dilone, Anwar Hadid, Cara Taylor, Adonis Bosso, Birgit Kos and Sofia Mechetner.
The pieces worn by Presley, Anwar and Adonis showed the Topman’s direction towards an expressive and energetic autumn – while still carries the label’s youthful urban DNA. Our particular favorites are the denim shirts with Presley, Anwar’s motorcycle puffer bright camo winter coat, and the crisp one buttoned suit on Adonis. Other pieces to watch: bold colored and patterned suits!
Styles from the campaign will be available in Topshop and Topman stores globally, as well as online at topshop.com and topman.com starting this mid October.
