By now we’ve used to seeing exotic animals in Gucci’s ad campaigns. But the brand’s newly-released Spring 2017’s campaign may be its wildest yet
For one, it features lions, tigers and leopards aka the big cats of the jungle. Actually, make that the city. Rome, to be precise.
Set in Rome, the campaign consists of 25 images that are inspired by the personalities of the historical city; its “artists, intellectuals, creatives and outsider characters,” according to an official statement. A cast of fresh modeling talents are photographed by Glen Luchford in the foreground of Rome’s popular spots, including tourists’ favorite Trevi Fountain.
Amidst the big cats and the stunning view of Rome, one thing manages to stand out, namely the white T-shirt adorned with Gucci logo, which takes its inspiration from real-life bootleg tees.
