For its debut at this year’s SIHH, Hermès presented the latest model in the Cape Cod collection.
The Cape Cod watch was born in 1991 from the vision of Henri d’Origny, in order to represent the idea of a square inside a rectangle. The contours of the numbers and the shape of the case are reminiscent of the Chaîne d’Ancre pattern.
The double strap option shows the versatility of its design, making accommodation for the filigree Milanese mesh bracelet as an alternative, surprisingly. With the infusion of modernity that adheres to the original principles and signature design of the original pieces, the Hermès Cape Cod Collection successfully expands its universe one step further.
