The Many Campaigns of Fall/Winter 2018/19

BALLY

I DREAMED A DREAM – Bally looks to nature for its fall 2018 campaign. Shot in an English countryside by photographer Colin Dodgson, the images are meant to evoke a “dreamlike narrative.” The campaign stars British model Edie Campbell with Chinese model Wang Chen Ming, who are seen wearing pieces from Bally’s retro sportswear-inspired fall 2018 collection. Accompanying the print campaign is an exclusive video shot by director Errol Rainey, who captured the models in a daydream, thereby beautifully capturing “the essence of the campaign.” Head over to bally.com to see the full video.

HERMÈS

ON THE MOVE –  In line with the popular tagline “Play it like Hermès,” the French luxury brand adopted a playful and dynamic fall 2018 campaign. Similar to its previous campaign, the one for this season displays the feeling of movement. This time, however, this is achieved with the help models Finnlay Davis (left), Anders Hayward (middle) and Oliver Kumbi (right), who are seen sporting luxurious coats from Hermès’ fall 2018 collection. The campaign also highlighted one of Hermès’ cashmere and silk scarf, the Awooooo, which is designed by Alice Shirley, who also designed the bear Grrrrr! scarf for fall 2016.

EMPORIO ARMANI

TIME TO PARTY – It’s all about fun and having a good time at Emporio Armani’s fall/winter 2018 campaign. Enlisting a number of 11 models, including established Dutch male model Mark Vanderloo, alongside Aleksandar Rusic (left), Leroy Mortiz Aiyanyo (middle) and Pepe Barroso (right), the campaign is shot by Sølve Sundsbø, who displayed an explosion of energy and fun with dancing and wide-smiled models. As the cool youngbrother of Giorgio Armani, the clothes too looked more youthful, with the use of wild patterns, shiny fabrics with references to sport attires.
