SCREEN TIME. The legendary Monaco and TAG Heuer Connect are set to be official timepieces in the upcoming action flick “Kingsman: The Golden Circle”
If you’re a fan of the original Kingsman movie, you’re probably waiting in anticipation for the sequel which is scheduled to release in late September. If you happen to also be a fan of TAG Heuer, you’ll be ecstatic to know that two timepieces by the iconic watchmaker will be featured in the upcoming sequel. Yes, that’s right, between all the action, explosions and other secret spy stuff happening on screen, keep your eyes peeled for the appearance of the legendary Monaco and the tech savvy TAG Heuer Connected on the wrists of the movies cast.
“Kingsman: The Golden Circle” picks up from where the previous film left off, with our heroes now members of the super secret spy agency that operates at the highest level of discretion, only to have their headquarters destroyed. As our heroes try to find the home-wrecking culprits, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the U.S. called Statesman chasing the same bad guys. The two organizations eventually work together to beat their common enemy. Of course between all that there’s a whole lot of gun shots, explosions, fight scenes and death-defying stunts that will keep action fans hooked.
The choice to use TAG Heuer watches for the movie came when director Matthew Vaughn was seeking for a timepiece that was not only tough, but also smart and looked elegant on the wrists of the Kingsman agents. The TAG Heuer Connected eventually came to his attention and he instantly agreed. To counter the elegant high-tech timepiece of the British secret agents, the wrists of the American Statesmen will feature the legendary Monaco Calibre 11. Both watches were built to withstand anything but also expresses class and style
