Set in the 1950s, the story of Sucker Punch revolves around an institutionalized young girl trapped in her own imaginative reality. 

Baby Doll is portrayed by <a href="http://emily-browning.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Emily Browning</a> (<a href="http://www.uninvitedmovie.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Uninvited</a>)—Amanda Seyfried turned down the role due to scheduling conflict. Warner Bros. Inc. agreed to distribute Sucker Punch after the success of Director <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0811583/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zack Snyder</a>’s 2009 film, The Watchmen.
The cast underwent some 12 weeks for martial-arts training prior to filming and included swords and choreography.
The film itself is Snyder’s first movie that was not a remake of another work. It’s one of those movies that you’ll either really love or really hate, there will be no fence-sitters on this.
