LEGENDARY STYLE. After featuring Samuel L. Jackson for its spring 2017 Sartorial Style campaign, Bironi has now chosen veteran actor Sir Anthony Hopkin for its latest campaign
Since replacing Brioni’s previous creative director Justin O’Shea with Nina-Maria Nitsche, the bad-boy reimage that O’Shea tried to bring to the brand has been dropped completely, returning to Brioni’s more elegant roots. For her first stint with Brioni, Nina-Maria Nitsche recruited actor Samuel L. Jackson to showcase her spring 2017 campaign. Now for fall 2017 the role for campaign model has been entrusted to Oscar-winning actor Sir Anthony Hopkins.
The 79-year-old Hopkins has always been known for his distinguished British gentlemen-style and it comes across in this campaign. The images for the campaign were captured by LA photographer Gregory Harris and somehow captures Hopkins magnetic charisma and effortless confidence without making showing his age. No stranger to the Brioni name, owning a few suits by the Italian menswear couture house, Hopkins added his own personal touch to the chosen styles which he took from his own personal wardrobe. Like with the movies he works on, he just had to add his personal flair to the project.
Sir Anthony Hopkins is currently nominated for his role in the TV show “Westworld”. Lets see if he arrives to this year’s event in a tuxedo by Brioni.
