DA MAN Magazine - Make Your Own Style!

As you will see in the February/March issue of DA MAN, there is a new category of movies called the &#8220;Fashion Film Short.&#8221;
<a href="http://www.diorhomme.com/">Dior Homme</a> is one of several high-fashion companies that have really embraced this genre of filmmaking and they&#8217;ve enlisted some top talent. Last year, they commissioned Guy Ritchie to make a short film for Dior fragrance, which stars Jude Law.
This year, coinciding with their spring-summer 2011 collections, they have made a couple of very artistic films including this one (below) called &#8220;Work in Progress&#8221; by avant-garde artist-cum-photographer <a href="http://www.staleywise.com/collection/moon/moon.html">Sarah</a> Moon.

The music is by Mode-F who call themselves &#8220;music stylists&#8221; and work directly with big-name fashion houses to make bespoke soundtracks for runway shows and projects such as this for Dior Homme.
The models are: Oleg Antosik, Alex Treutel, Alex Bennett, Liam Sole, Daniel Uzdowski, Adrien Sahores and Aleksanrs Rusinov.

Sarah Moon&#8217;s fashion images have appeared in all the best fashion magazines and she has collaborated with brands such as Comme des Garçons, Dior and Chanel. Moon has been quoted as saying, &#8220;Very often I say to myself: I would like to make a photo where nothing happens. But in order to eliminate, there has to be something to begin with. For nothing to happen, something has to happen first.&#8221;
