These days, you know you’ve made it when you’re included in one of Calvin Klein’s groundbreaking #mycalvins advertisements
Originally launched for the spring/summer 2016 season, the first batch of the #mycalvins campaign was fronted by Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner (among many others) and helmed by Tyrone Lebon.
The photographer and filmmaker has now been tapped again by Calvin Klein to shoot the recently released fall/winter 2016 campaign. Similarly, Cameron Dallas, who became the face of Calvin Klein Jeans‘ limited-edition capsule collection earlier this year, also made another appearance in the campaign. Dallas is joined by fellow social media star-slash-model Presley Gerber, aka Cindy Crawford’s son.
Bringing together a diverse cast of talent, the fall/winter 2016 squad also includes musicians Frank Ocean, Young Thug, Henry Rollins; indie actor Antoine-Olivier Pilon; and Real Madrid player James Rodriguez.
Their female counterparts feature the likes of supermodels Kate Moss and Bella Hadid; actresses Zoë Kravitz and Margot Robbie; Chinese singer-songwriter G.E.M.; and legendary fashion influencer Grace Coddington.
An expanded universe in the form of a dedicated micro-site has been launched as a part of the campaign. Offering not only images and videos from the campaign, ck.com/mycalvins allows access to personal stories and Spotify playlists from the brand ambassadors. Intimate interviews and special behind-the-scene materials will also be published continuously throughout the fall season.
Will the campaign steal headlines like it did last time with actress Klara Kristin’s upskirt photo? We’ll just have to wait and see!
