Never Still campaign focuses on the hardships of life on the road.
The luxe luggage brand Rimowa launched its second Never Still campaign, featuring the NBA all-star LeBron James, artistic director of Dior Men Kim Jones and Chinese pianist prodigy Yuja Wang. “As a brand dedicated to the heritage of consumer-focused craftsmanship, longevity and innovation, Rimowa is committed to participating in the conversation by adding meaningful cultural context to our products. Together with this group of diverse global icons, we continue to open up a conversation beyond travel to explore what it means and takes to move forward,” said Rimowa’s CEO Alexandre Arnault.
Similar to last year, the films and images revolve around the travelling concept but what is different this time around is the additional focus on the challenges on being on the road, physically and metaphorically. And each personality has three different directorial teams, Matt Baron filming the pianist Wang, illustrates how the adrenaline triggered by constant travel helps her better her focus on her craft. Philippe Tempelman for Lebron takes a poetic look at the importance of being driven to go outside the comfort zone and lastly Jones & Julien for Jones visits urban setting in Tokyo and India and finds his inspiration.
