ELEGANCE SIMPLY REFINED. Omega introduces its familiar Speedmaster chronograph in a slightly smaller iteration that still maintains the lines heritage and also breathes elegance
A 38mm chronograph wristwatch that is able to still look slim on the wrist is quite a feat for many watchmakers as fitting the intricate movement in a smaller diameter does take finesse. Omega has been able to offer a smaller variant to its well-recognized Speedmaster line, which not only maintains the stylish sporty aesthetics of the original, but also injects a more elegant oomph to the design.
The new Speedmaster 38 mm collection consists of 14 models for both men and women. So, fans of the series are sure to find one in their favorite color. Out of the whole collection, there were four standout timepieces that were featured at BaselWorld 2017. One of these outstanding watches was nicknamed “Cappuccino,” featuring a diamond-paved bezel set in rose gold. Thanks to the dual bezel design, the tachymeter scale is still present, maintaining the sporty allure of the timepiece.
The next breathtaking option comprises a stunning color combination of a stainless steel case, with an 18k yellow gold and green aluminum bezel, plus green leather straps. The whole design tastefully articulates sporty elegance.
The bracelet version of the Speedmaster 38 mm is available for the stainless steel case with a sun-brushed icy-blue dial and blue aluminum bezel.
The fourth and final stunner of the collection is pure white and seems to be more targeted toward the fairer sex. The white-mother-of-pearl dial features oval sub-dials with a diamond trim and chronograph function hands that are in 18K rose gold. The white leather strap has light pink stitching.
The level of craftsmanship offered by Omega’s Speedmaster 38 mm collection is as expected from a watchmaker such as Omega and is further exceeded by the level of elegance presented in the design of the timepieces.
