Both Spanish icons collaborated for the fourth time and brought back the classic biker spirit in this new collection.
Marquez, who described his own style as casual and sporty, gave many insights into the design thoughts – especially when the theme is something very personal to him.
A series of vintage designs with monochromatic graphic and slogans (along with the signature MM93) inspired by the café racer movement and the untamed spirit of classic bikers are plastered on streetwear staples like T-shirts, hoodies and sweaters.
Other than the standard white, the colors grey, orange and maroon seem to be the palette of choice for the MM93 collab this season – giving more depth into the rustic retro look. Several motorcycle racing influenced illustrations, but our favorite is the monochromatic helmet.
As the very suitable embodiment of the brand itself, the young rider, who was recently crowned MotoGP World Champion for the fifth time, models the designs in the recent campaign for the capsule collection. Shot in a barren wasteland and on (of course) motorcycles, translating the collection’s spirit perfectly.
The collection was launched in Indonesia by Marquez himself, and will be soon available in the brand’s retail stores worldwide.
