On May 26, it transported its entire fall/winter ’15 collection to Beijing and staged a runway show against a backdrop depicting an American football stadium. “I’m excited to bring the spirit of an authentic American football game to China and share the unique experience as part of our 30th anniversary celebrations,” the founder and creative director of the brand stated.
Reminiscing on his journey since opening his first store at just 18, Hilfiger mentioned how the past three decades has taught him “the value of hard work, dedication and passion.” That passion lives on, as the show also marked the opening of the brand’s largest China store that further cements the brand’s worldwide reach.
