The Olympic swimmer will be the face of the brand’s menswear collection
Three-time Olympic gold medalist Nathan Adrian is making a splash in the fashion world. Following in the footsteps of tennis player Rafael Nadal, Adrian has now been tapped as Tommy Hilfiger‘s menswear ambassador.
The announcement of Adrian’s appointment comes out just in time for the Rio 2016 Olympics, and also coincides with the Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, which falls every May in the U.S. (Adrian is half-Chinese).
The news was first broadcasted on Tommy Hilfiger’s social media accounts. “We’ve totally fallen for swimming phenom @Nathangadrian, our newest menswear Ambassador!” declares the brand on one of its Twitter posts.
A short video featuring Adrian falling into a pool wearing an outfit by Tommy Hilfiger accompanies the posts. Check out the video below.
